Google Reader

RSS readers can be very beneficial for both students and teachers. Teachers can use the readers to stay up-to-date on articles about education, technology, and new policies affecting their work environment (i.e. government policies). This is every helpful for teachers because instead of having to search through dozens of sites in hopes of finding something new, all of the new articles about education come right to you.

Students can also use RSS readers. They can use them to stay up-to-date on their friends blogs, classroom blogs or other information, as well as other none school related items. This is benificial because it makes it much easier for them to find the information that they need with minimal confusion. Also in this way they are able to stay close with friends and other interesting topics that they discover.
